Today I let my beagle Fancy play with my big hairless rat Norbert. They had so much fun! They were playing with each other and he was trying to pick up her paws, and it was too cute. Here's a picture:

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
No kidding, I guess not many people would trust such a big rat with such a tiny beagle!

I was thinking of it the other way around. I wouldn't trust the beagle with the rat, but maybe I'm too used to my breed and their hunting instincs.
Cute pic!

Chelle and the rest of the crew including, but not limited to Kita and Taiko (the shiba inu wrestle maniacs), Adi (reserved and dignified tabby cat), and all 28 reptiles
Fancy hunts for nothing but attention.
She's got the hound nose, but as for hunting instincts, she'd much rather make a new friend than eat one. Norbert will have nothing to do with the other rats. I was really surprised that Mr. "I'll visit with you only when *I* want to" was so interested in Fancy. He interacted more with her than he ever has with the other rats. One of those weird little friendships, I guess.
