Rolling in Poo...

sportygurl3392 Oct 16, 2006 04:58 PM

Hello all,

I have a husky who is about 18 months old, and when we take her for walks, she falls to the floor sometimes and starts rolling around..
The other day she did this in another dogs poop..
I know that this is nasty to read (even nastier to clean)...but can anyone let me know why she may be doing this?

I have had other dogs (different breeds), but they have never done this...

Thanks in adavnced

Hi,
I read that this is done to leave their scent on the top of the pile...so to speak. I guess it's for the same reason they have to leave a message on a rock or tree where five dogs before them have left their messages. LOL I have a Shih Tzu and we have to make at least five stops on our morning walk.
