Double Fangs on Chihuahua Puppy

abukuchick Dec 08, 2006 03:24 PM

My two chihuahua boys are about 6 months old and teething. Jack B's teeth seem to be doing pretty well, but Andre is getting the double tooth on all of his canine teeth. I know they still might fall out, but I was wondering at what point they would need to be pulled if they don't come out on their own. It's been about a week and a half to two weeks since the new teeth broke through the gums. Any suggestions? He has lost some molars, but I want to make sure that those baby teeth don't hurt his permenant ones. Thanks

Martha, Andre and Jack B

There is no urgency to get the teeth out, so give it another 3 months.
