I need a little help. My 3yr old lab Waldo who i just rescued from a shelter is house trained but elimates both functions whenever a family member or friend enters the House he runs around barks and stops urinates or deficates uncontrolably.
Has anyone ever had this problem or can help please reply.

That's excited to see people! Wow!

I'd actually put this dog on a leash and control the interaction when greeting people. On leash it's harder to get as worked up. Corrections don't need to be made, just reminders to mind manners and stay a bit calmer.

If that doesn't work, a vet trip might be in order because it there may be a medical reason for such things.

I agree with Chelle and would also add that it might help to take your dog for a long walk before people come over, which will help get some of the energy out. (Your guests must be very startled by your dog's response!)
