Hibernation...

phathena Jan 23, 2007 11:30 PM

The weather has cooled off tremendously around here. And all creatures are keeping close to the house. With some notable exceptions!

I dropped older son at school this morning at O-Dark-fifteen. As I left the neighborhood, I saw a woman & her two dogs. I returned approx 30minutes later & they were finishing their walk.

At 11AM, I was leaving again...they were out...again. I returned around 4PM...they were out...again.

545PM, I left again and they were out. We return around 815PM, guess who we saw.

First, explain WHY the cocker spaniel is a waddling coffee table if it goes to walk THAT OFTEN????

Second, why did Athena, under death threats, only go out momentarily 4X that same day? Seriously, the dog needs a coat!

Third, WHERE did that woman find the cordless electric heated coat for herself? Because it was FRIGID & windy...and she was no bigger than a minute! That wind probably cut her in half!!!

Is it spring yet?

I wish it were spring! Hmmmm... maybe the two dogs were not hers and she was looking after them for someone else? My two would absolutely LOVE that many good walks in a day. Too bad, it's too cold this time of year and they can't convince me they are huskies- although they try. Maybe they are still workign on their New Year's resolutions? Kudos to them- they are better than me.
