How to eliminate yeast problems?

Hi !
How to eliminate yeast problems permanently from our pet? As vet advice its difficult to remove permanently from their blood. Is there any solution ?

ANSWER:

Your dog has to have a balance of friendly flora for life, and that includes yeast. The trick is to keep it in balance. When an antibiotic--such as ear ointment or an oral antibiotic--kills off too much of the body's friendly bacteria, the yeast tends to overgrow and the balance is off. Because some of the treatments for systemic yeast problems are worse than the illness, I would ask my vet to refer my dog to a specialist if I were you. This is a tiny dog whose body could quickly be overwhelmed by some of the treatments vets use for this. The specialist to use may be an internal medicine specialist.
