Hi- I am a Bulldog breeder, just starting out, and I had my female artificially inceminated - I took her to the vet at 47 days to see if she is pregnant, and the told me that they did an x-ray and she isn't. But I am not convinced...does anyone know if an x-ray is viable at 47 days? Another breeder I know said that they never x-ray until the 8th week.

You should be able to see pups at 47 days on x-ray. There are some wonderful breeding books out there, you may want to stock up on some and finding an in person mentor would be highly beneficial as well.
