Hi, my pomeranian is very flat-haired. She has no 'mane', and her head looks very small. She's almost a year old...will she ever be really fluffy?
I love her to pieces as she is, but I'd really like to bring her to shows in the future.

Hi and welcome to the DogHobbyist. I have Shiba Inu's so we are sort of related breed wise. I wasn't sure about the breed standard of the Pom so checked out the AKC. The last line under Coat says... Major Faults: Soft, flat or open coat.
So I'm not sure without being able to see your girl if that applies to her or not. It's sort of like a Cream Shiba being considered a major fault when in fact they might be the best dog in the litter. At any rate your little girl is a real cutie and when you can you'll have to put up some other pictures. What is her name btw?

Ah ok, thanks for the info
She's called Tinkerbell....I didn't know Paris Hiltons dog was called that until weeks after I named her, but oh well.
LOL! Well in spite of Paris Hilton... Tinkerbell is a cute name for a little Pom!
