>>We have an 8-month-old Border Collie we call Finn. He has always been just a little neurotic, but for the past few days he has had what appears to be severe anxiety. It has affected his appetite - he eats, but not as much as usual - and has bouts of shaking. He has taken to hiding in corners or in his kennel for hours at a time.

>>Is this kind of behavior normal, and how can we help our very scared puppy?
Sometimes my bc gal hides when she hears loud noises or when our son is playing basketball. She is very sensitive to loud noises. She will hide also. I usually reasure her and after a little while she comes out and is fine. Don't understand why she started doing this because when she was younger she was fine.
