My new puppy was born on christmas, he is now 3 1/2 months old and weighs about 37 pounds. What should i expect him to weigh at full maturity?

Most ABs I know are around 55 to 60 lbs, but there are many different lines out there. Do you have any idea what sizes the parents were? That will give you the best idea of how big your pup will be when grown up.

This answer varies greatly on what kind of American Bulldog you have.

Johnson or the Bullys are often much larger, with males easily exceeding 100 lbs.

Scott or Standard or Performance versions, tend to stay in the 50-60 lb range once again with males being heavier.

Hybrids of the types are usually between 70-90 lbs.

My Brutus is an example of a hybrid. He is a smidge chunky from winter at 83 lbs. His good weight is 79 and with his joint issues we would like to get him to at least 75.
