New puppies

kamakahi Apr 13, 2007 12:58 PM

We recently purchased pups (siblings; male and female) and would like to know how young the dogs can be when they start to look the way they will when they are adults. They were very cute little furballs in the first few weeks (of course), but now, at 7 weeks, they seem a little gangly (though healthy). We're a little worried that the dogs might not fill in, but we're hoping that we're being premature with this. So, once again, when might we expect to see what the dogs will most likely look like as adults?

I'm thinking much like my own breed the Shiba Inu, that Sibes go through this gangly stage. I know Shibas do and they look rather awkward until they start to fill out, usually after the first year.
