Mind of his own!

I have a beautiful male Siberian Husky, his name is Kahn. We picked him up from a humane society when he was about 5 mths. Now he's around 4. When ever I take him for walks, he is ALL OVER the place, basicly dragging me side to side. I try and get him to calm down but he's soo hyper. Most of the time he's great! Others, he does what ever he wants. We have tried to help, but I think he needs something more. Do you have any tips for getting him to behave more on a leash?

Thanks!
Katrina

There are various kinds of harnesses that could be used to get your Sibe to walk normally. The clip is in the front across the breastbone, this redirects the dog into the direction you want him to go. There is also the Gentle Leader which goes over the muzzle, the same premise... it supposed to make the dog go where you want to go.

I did get him a harness. Its much better than a regular collar. But he just seems to still drag me. I'm on the smaller side though, but I wish he would just calmly walk next to me so I can enjoy a walk with him . Thanks though I might need to look into a new leader!
