Food Question

sarasmushu May 03, 2007 11:39 AM

He all,
I'm posting for a Friend, She has 3 dogs a border collie, an English mastiff and a Saint Bernard.
The Mastiff and the BC are on Iams Large Breed Low-fat dog food. and the Saint is on Propac holistic she would like to get away with feeding one dog food to all 3. Her Saint is Rather thin for a Saint so she would be looking to maintain weight on him if not add it but she would like to feed him the Low-fat stuff. Personaly I dont' think it's Feasible but I told her I'd ask.

Is it possible to Feed the Low-fat and Add Like Potatoes to it or something to maintain the weight? or even add weight?

She is Really looking to put a Few pounds on but if she can keep the weight on and feed the low-fat it'd be great

Thanks
Sara

It might be possible to do that with the St Bernard but your friend would really have to do some research to make sure the dog didn't put on to much weight and also keep a balanced diet.
