I am thinking of trying a head collar for my dog...but I don't know which to get, Halti or Gentle leader?!? I am getting confused *laughs*. Feedback would be great!!

Either would be just fine. It depends on how comfortable it is on the dog. Before using it regularly, let the dog wear the head harness. The head harnesses work toward combating pulling primarily. If you like the idea, but not the look of the head harness, check out the Gentle Leader Easy Walk, which works the same basic premise as the head collar but looks like a regular harness.

I was wonder because I have heard that sometimes the gentle leader cuts into the dogs eyes in some cases, and that the halti ca slip off?

Yeah they can. Some dogs are not made to wear head collars. Short snouted dogs can have a hard time. As I said, the biggest issue these collars combat is pulling. The harnesses also work just as well. The only drawback that I do not like with the harnesses is that they are made with plastic clips, and with bullies, plastic closures are a no no.

my dog is a GSP and he does have a long nose so he should be fine I guess. I will probably go with the halti just because they are usually a lot less $$ than the genlte leader.
