Symmetrical Lupoid Onychodystrophy

My 8 year old female German Shepherd was recently diagnosed with SLO.
The vet has put her on 400IU/Vitamin E/Day and Omega-3. He also wants to put her on Tetracycline 500mg/3 times/day and Niacinamide 500mg/3 times/day.
I have read that the Tetracycline/Niacinamide combination can cause seizures/tremors.
Is there a Holistic alternative to the Tet/Nic?

You might want to try fatty acid treatment without the tetracycline/nicotinamide therapy first. If it is successful, great. If not, then you might want to consider the tetracycline/nicotinamide therapy in addition.
