Over Eating?

tommyinnes May 27, 2007 12:22 AM

I just bought two 7.5 week old chihuahuas today and I absolutely love them already. I bought food and water dispensers - they'll always have food to eat and water to drink.

However, one of the two seems unable to stop eating, and the other still seems a little uneasy, and hasn't really eaten at all. The over-eater makes me want to take the food away, because I don't want her to kill herself (her stomach is already looking bloated like she's eaten too much), but I fear that if I take away the food, the other will finally find himself comfortable enough to eat, but have no food available.

Should I be more concerned about the over-eater or the under-eater?

Thanks in advance for your help... I just want to keep my new family members happy and healthy =)

I don't know what the problem might be, but I would check with a vet and see what they say. Or check back with the breeder.

Not much help sorry.
