My pure husky seemed to not do so good with any dry food at all. There were instant results in hours of feeding raw (no diahrea). The difference in how little they eat, how little they crap, how much energy they get from so little food, how clean the teeth are, and just almost every physical feature of them is amazing.
I have a used prepared raw diets, raw meaty bones, raw fruits and veggies, and would never go back to dogfood ever again. The most common comments other dog owners (especially other husky owners or former owners) have is about his coat, is feels and looks like what fur should, "wow that coat is amazing", the others have to do with the crystal white teeth, and his general physical appearance.
My husky mix puppy has been fed raw since 7 weeks old only, he is growing so fast, and is now recieving the same comments about his coat. When the little one was switched to raw he smelled like dry dog food for a few weeks (his system was detoxifying) the smell was coming out of his pores, and his breath was bad. After about 2-3 weeks (cant remember exactly) it was all gone. Did I forget to mention, no doggy breath from a raw fed dog (no processed food in their diet).
I only use salmon oil, brewers yeast, apple cider vinegar.
Mine eat chicken backs, turkey necks, ground rabbit, wings, tail sections (turkey), Nebraska brand canine diet (zoo wolf food), HPP beef complete, raw whole fish, green beef tripe, and few other sources.
I need to get new pictures. All 3 eat raw, the cat still eats some very high quality dry in his diet (my wifes choice).
