Hornet/yellow jacket stings

My dog was just stung by hornets! Is there something I can do for the stings?? Help please!

If the stingers are still in the bite area try removing then with tweezers. You can wash the area with a solution of baking soda and water and then put ice wrapped in a towel or wash cloth to keep the swelling down for about 4-5 minutes at a time.
Lastly you can give the dog plain Benadryl if you have some in the house. Dosages would be as follows....
Under 30 pounds... 10mg
31-50 pounds...... 25mg
51 and over....... 50mg
