I live on a farm where someone else harvests our alfalfa crop and uses it for feed for his livestock. My concern is that my dogs use the field for their personal toilet. Should I be halting any harvesting due to contaminated fece? I read an article that said salmonella was present in feces of dogs eating raw food. Can it be passed on that way? So hard to know what to believe. ANy help would be MOST welcome!!!
