OK experts, I (of course) have another question. All of a sudden I noticed that the hair around her eyes (on only her right eye) is thinning. She doesn't seem bothered from it and she was just at the vet (who didn't see any issues but I hadn't noticed it yet). My friend says that it is a normal puppy thing as she loses her puppy fur (she's about 3 months old now), but I think it's weird that it's just one eye. Anyone have any personal experience with this?

That needs looking into by a vet. Hair loss can indicate many medical issues so you need it checked out. It's not an emergency, but I'd do it this week.
