question about my new juvie dragon

Hefe Oct 10, 2003 10:23 AM

I love this guy. Hes alot different than my leos. Watches me and reacts more to things. Hes in the process of shedding and I wanted to know if he needed any help or if he will remove it ok on his own. Heh another thing was I didnt know these guys can jump. I had the lid off his tank for a moment and the next thing I know hes up on the lip of the tank perched on the edge!!

Hi
if you realy see the shedding parts r losse you can mist him r give him a bath.
when i see one of my dragon is schedding there head r body then i use one finger to pet him.
then he pusing with his body and head towards my finger so the shedding parts go of .
its jsut when you pet a cats head then he pushing against youre hand to.
its very funny you can pet/rub it but not pul it of and hold it between 2 fingers .
use only one finger to pet .

Pulling it off too soon is not good, and could hurt him if the skin underneath is not ready yet. When mine start to peel I give them a bath and just rub the spots that are shedding. If they are ready to come off they will come off in the bath nice and easy.

Bearded Dragons are great jumpers!! Have you seen the episode of the Crocodile Hunter where the dragon jumps up and bites Steve on his nose?? Hilarious!!
