Missing Link

How does everyone feel about a canine supplement called The Missing Link? I feed my three dogs (a 17-year-old, eight pound Chihuahua mix, a 5-year-old, twenty pound Jack Russell Terrier, and a 5-month-old, thirty pound mixed breed) Nutro Natural Choice, which is a pretty good food, but not the best on the market. I get this brand free from where I work, and I also live in a relatively small town, so finding super premium and super holistic brands is near to impossible.

I started adding The Missing Link to their food just last night (they eat twice a day and I'll be using the supplement both feedings). What I'm hoping for above all is the improvement of skin/coat -- the Chihuahua mix and the Jack Russell Terrier both shed A LOT and I'm trying to improve upon this. I've read nothing but excellent reviews about the product but what everyone has failed to mention is what brand of food their dog is on (what I'm worried about is the supplement not working for me because they're already on a decent brand of dog food). Thoughts? Suggestions?

Thanks.

The Missing Link from what I have read seems to be a decent supplement. Anything with a glucosamine and Omega 3&6 additive has to be benefical for the dogs. My dogs are on Wellness Simple Solution and they each get a Derm Cap which is a fatty oil rich in Omega 3&6. My one dog due to his back end problems is on Cosequin. I recently changed to this from the SynoviG3 that he was getting. Since the glucosamine is a natural additive you might not see any improvement for a couple of months. WIth the additional Omega 3&6 you should see the coat improve and become soft and shiny. Let us know how it goes.
