Hello all, my name is Tyler and I am in need of some help with a certain dog I am fostering. Her name is Lulu. She is 2-3 years old and very loving. Our problem is that she was very abused and is petrified of just about everything in the world. She is supposedly housebroken, but is so scared she refuses to go to the bathroom outside. We do not wish to turn this dog into a un-housebroken mess. If anyone has an tips on how to gain her trust and get her to go outside they would be greatly appreciated!

Poor Lulu. You're doing a wonderful thing by fostering her and earning her trust. Is she afraid of going outside altogether, or does she just not potty once she's outside? Have you tried luring her outside with treats or toys? Is she using puppy pads or newspaper inside? If she's using something in particular inside, you could keep moving that object closer and closer to the door and then moving it outside.
