keeping fur under control

jonny75904 Aug 26, 2007 01:58 PM

I have a great pyrenees and am keeping him in an apartment right now. I know it's not the best scenario, but I don't have much choice right now.

I am growing tired of all the fur - I have had him for four years and his shedding has NEVER been like this. Part of it is I have nowhere outside to take him to rake him out. I still rake him some indoors, but that just adds to my battle against the hundreds of "cody puffs" of fur we find all over the place.

I would like to hear strategies from others on how they control fur around the house.

Thanks,

Jonny

This may sound silly, but it worked for me on one of my dogs. Do you think your dog would tolerate being vaccumed?

I dont know if this will help cuz I dont know what what their coats are like but it helped big time with my GSD/Dane/Husky who has a think under coat and sheds bad. I picked it up last week and just love it. I use it every few days and his coat has been looking so nice since.

Hope it helps
