i have used a product called 'sergeant's gold flea and tick squeeze on for dogs' for over 2 years and it has been great at keeping flea's away...i have never had a flea problem.This morning i woke up and one of my boston terriers was lying on my lab and was licking away at her neck (where the ointment was applied) i made him stop and didnt think to much of it...awhile later my dog started acting very ill and foaming at the mouth and i rushed him to the vet.he was throwing up violently in my car...apparently this stuff is very toxic...dont ever use it...my dog is going to be ok thankfully.just stear clear of this product

I'm glad your dog will be okay. I have never used the product but like anything we use on our dogs we need to do so with caution and to read the fine print. Hopefully others reading and using this product will heed the warning.
