PanzersMom Aug 28, 2007 10:53 AM

I have been giving my boy carrots for treats cuz he has food allergys and I cant find any treats that dosnt have chicken , corn or wheat in them. I also have been putting little pices of celery in with his food instead of canned dog food and was wondering if veggies are good for him and what else can I put in with the celery?

Most vegetables are okay for dogs but do not feed onions or raw garlic. Also most fruits are okay except for grapes and raisins in large quantities which can be toxic to them.

I use Green Beans, peas, carrots, and Basicly anything my boys will eat I love adding them as little extras in their food. Plus you can Even go Frozen Veggies for a little Extra surprise and since mine love Ice cubes the Frozen Veggies work Great!!
for a Treat in the Summer months I will Freeze melons and Carrots for something different!!!
