My 5 year old male Vizlsa was diagnosed with Thrombocytopenia 2 weeks ago. He is now out of the critical stage but is improving so slowly. His platelet count is still well below normal. He has dropped 8 pounds. He is also an allergy dog. I'm curious if anyone else has dealt with ITP. He is on the max prednisone, azathaprine, and cyclosporine and still very slow results.
