housebreaking vs pottypads

hello, i recently got a chi baby who is 12wks old now, i have him using a potty pad but was wondering how many people housebreak there chi's and take a risk with the hawks...

I prefer housebreaking to pottypads. I would rather have the mess and odor outside than in. I understand your concerns about hawks. The only suggestion I have about that is you would just have to stay outside with your dog while the dog is going potty.

If the pottypads work for you stick with them.
