Well that dreaded time for my min pin is arriving. Soon he won't be allowed to spend all day out sunning with his best friend the Husky in the yard because well we all know that they just can't handle it. My dogs love each other and the husky always cries when Gizmo isn't around with her. I don't want to have to keep him in the house all day and was wondering if anyone had some good suggestions for very warm winter gear for dogs and some booties. Brand names etc. He won't be allowed out for long but at least he won't be cooped up by himself all day going crazy if he can go out and play for a couple minutes a day with his best buddy. He was just a puppy last year this time and he was always right out and then right back in...but I know he love's it outside as our back yard is all fenced in and he can stretch those legs. Anyways, if you have any ideas or know what works for your little guys let me know please. And here is an updated picture of the little fella. hope to hear from you.

Hi! Great shots of Gizmo! I don't have a MinPin I have Shiba Inu's so they adapt to the cold weather. However I do get catalogs from JBPet, Drs Foster & Smith and Pet Edge. They all have clothes and booties that you can checkout and see what would suit your needs... you can check these sites online as well. Good Luck!

As I'm on a limited income and I have a min pin I can Relate. I always try to make sure he's got atleast a T-shirt on at all times durring the winter. I also got a Heavy winter Jacket From petsmart and a Fleece Coat from Wal-mart. as for booties I use BAby booties with little Hair ties to keep them on his Feet. I also Try to put some VAsiline on his feet or on the Sock it will keep the snow From sticking.

Alright thanks for the suggestions. The vasaline idea sounds like a good one, I will have to try it! I think I will head up to the city this weekend and see what some of the local pet stores hold! I also found some good deals on Ebay...so maybe I will grab one of those! Thanks for your ideas! Much appreciated!
