Hey we have a few people starting to come around more.

Just curious if anyone is training in anything like SCH or weight pulls or anything interesting!

I had wanted to do weight pull with our boy, but alas he came to us arthritic, so just plain old obedience for him.

I love how they need to check on you before they take off again! Your old arthritic man doesnt look too bad! He tears through the corn like the pup does! Ill have to get video of our play day today and share it.

no hes not bad at all, but i dont think its arthritis. it doesnt seem to get worse when it cooled or anything like that. but again he doesnt really jump unless he really fired up. i was also thinking maybe NCL which it is known to be in his ped. but hes doesnt seem to complain so until he starts showing hes in pain then ill do somehting about it. also thanks for the help on the meds will def look into getting those u mentioned.

a couple more vids from that day.

If I were you, I would look at joint supplement now, especially in your pup. Weight pull is hard on joints. Supplements need to build up over time and are basically long term vitamins. Also looking into the supplements may stave off the back issues from getting worse.

the pup is on a very good diet and ordered supplements on top of that. both parents have great hips and joints and both are working dogs. and i dont plan on adding to much weight until he is matured. mainly will be doing sound distractions and getting him to pull on command without the use of an object or food or whatever else could be used. i dont plan on doing any wp comps just doing it for a lil fun.
