Mom has a little shihtzu(sp)and has bought a product called crystal eyes.She was fine using plain water and a wash cloth.The dog doesnt like the product LOL!Is there a natural for cleaning eye area?Thanks!

Did the warm water and wash cloth clean the eye area? If so, why not continue to use it. With many dogs, bodily fluids will give light colored fur a reddish-brown discoloration which does not wash out. The best thing to do in these situations is to stop the discharge, whether it is tearin or salivating or some other discharge.
