Update Buddy's Lump!

carmeny Oct 10, 2007 02:28 PM

So we saw the vet today and she is almost 100% sure it is a "fat" lump but she took two samples of it to send away to the lab and we should know in the next day or so. But when she squirted out the samples on the slides they appeared to have "oil" in them - so that is great knews! Like I said, we will know more in a few days but I am extremely optimistic!

HI,
Sorry I missed your previous post about the lump. I had a beagle who lived to be seventeen. As he got older, he developed several lumps. The vet thought that they were fatty lumps but finally decided to check one out and he was right. They never bothered him and he was pretty active until we lost him at age seventeen. I wish Buddy the very best.

Sorry for your recent loss. I will be thinking about Buddy tonight.
Hopefully it is nothing but fat!

I spoke with the vet today and she confirmed that it is just fat! Yayyyy! Buddy and his parents are greatly relieved especially so soon after losing our Hobo.
Thanks for your concern!
