breeding

just out of curiosity does anyone know if its safe to breed a sable cocker with a buff/white......i am full aware of all the genetics test that should and need to be preformed and the age they should be ect.... just not sure on the color chart????

I'm sure there are charts out there that tell you the possible outcomes from that color cross. In very basic terms, yes it's "safe" to breed thsoe two colors together. I don't know the specifics on that exact combo though. Might want to ask a breed club about this.

I don't have cocker spaniels any longer. Grew up for a while with one- family dog. I know the English Cocker Spaniels better now because good friends of mine own 3 of them and I've trained two of them for them.
