Feeding an ill soon-to-be monster.

Callidryas Oct 22, 2007 07:29 PM

Hi! I have a 2 month old puppy with an esophagic malfunction and the vet told me to feed her the usual dry food, just grinded with some water and serving it in a high place... The thing is, I've been wondering if I can have the whole sack of food pre-grinded somewhere, stock it in some kind of container and then just add the water everyday to the dosage, but I don't know if this would affect the freshness of the food or damage it in some way. I'm thinking of this because I have to stick to this diet for more-o-less 6 months and my girl is a biiiig german shepperd growing faster than weed, so by the time we're done, I may not have a functional blender or at least one big enough to grind all that so... any toughts? Thanx a lot :3

(Pardon the mistakes... English isn't my first language ;P)

Greetings, Bita.

You can just add hot water to the kibble and mash it with a fork after letting it soak for 5 to 10 minutes.
