Hello,
I have an almost 6 month old male
Fox terrier/German Shep mix.
Who seems to be more Fox Terrier.
He is Always on the go, Extremely energetic
and proving to be very hard to train even basic commands.
He was a farm litter and the last to go, so
for his first 5 months he had No training.
He jumps up like crazy and the word "no" means nothing to him
I have got him listening to "down" but only works
with a treat, the rest of the time he ignores the command.
We live in the country and have barn cats Which is turning into
a huge issue, if he is out for a run he will chase them
and will not listen if you call him back or tell him to
leave them alone,
when he runs after them he does this high pitched yappy barking sound.
We also have an indoor cat but he leaves him
alone most times.
He is Very friendly happy go lucky pup and seems
to be Very submissive with anyone .. well except the cats.
If anyone can help with training tips could post that
would help alot
