I have a chihuahua/pekingnese mix. He's almost 2 year old. He has been pooping in the house. We take him outside on a regular basis, and he run back inside and poop on the floor. Has anyone epxerienced this before?? Any ideas on how to curb this behavior?

When he is outside is he outside long enough to want to go? When is the last time he was seen by your vet? Any change in normal behavior should always be examined.

He's outside for a while usually, until he gets bored and heads to the door. or he won't go out the door at all. He went to the vet in August for his yearly check up.

Hi,
Could you perhaps take him for a short walk in the morning? When my Shih Tzu was a puppy, she use to do the same thing. I then decided to take her for a little walk and now I can almost set my watch by her doodle in the morning. I don't know if it's due to the walk or the scents she picks up on the walk. Many dogs are walked by here each day. In many ways they're creatures of habit and the secret is to get them in the right habits. Come back and let us know how your little one is doing.
