New Puppy! (link to pics)

Just want to let everybody know that we adopted a Sibe from the Humane Society. She came home today and is doing great. She has the potty routine down already, is used to her crate (goes in/out on her own), and is learning her name (Maya). She is such a doll! We guess she is 4 months old. I'll have the Vet give me his estimate on Friday.

My other Sibe (Nikki - 7) is pretty much disinterested, and my Lab Mix (Shadow - 9) has been the one either correcting her or playing with her. I thought Shadow wouldn't accept her, but it's coming along. She wrestled with her for like 20 min in the backyard, letting Maya jump all over her. This was after Shadow scared the heck out of her with a snarl/snap/lunge display of dominance. It really put Maya in her place, and she was very submissive of Shadow after that, but like I said, later Shadow invoked the play position, and they were like old friends!

Here is a link to some pics I took Saturday at the Humane Society. This was before her bath today. She looks and smells MUCH better now!

The best way to view the pics is go "full screen" with the window, then click the first pic and go "next" at each subsequent pic...

Thanks for looking!
