1 1/2 Yr Old English Bulldog

DeL2000 Nov 08, 2007 10:42 AM

My bulldog is 1 1/2 yr old, and he dosen't appear to be a regular size, nor average looking English Bulldog. But he is registered thru AKC and his blood line consist of Champion bulldogs. But from the look of him, he's body style is more of a Olde English Bulldogge. Muscular and lean. What do you think from the pic? I got him from someone who can no longer take care of him.

I feel VERY comfortable in saying NOT Olde English. He looks way too short.

Not sure where the person originally aquired him from. She had papers, but ehh who knows.

I would say that this looks like a VERY healthy EB. He doesnt appear to have the joint issues you see with over breeding. The excessive bowing of the legs, wider set legs, etc... He is also a good weight!!!! WAY TO GO!!!! I see so many obese EBs it is just sad.

There may be a slight chance if he is standing taller than a normal English he may be Victoria. Then again was there a chance he was altered really young? Altering at a very early age can cause growth changes. That would by why my APBT looks like a Greyhound on steriods!

Anyhoo Oldes tend to a more American Bulldog body with the english head.

BTW did I mention he is just too cute for words!!! Keep them pics coming! How bad does he drool?
