The vet is right, it was just infection.
The scar is completely black now, the normal colour of that part of his nose. The bump has shrunk considerably, there is a little more that we have to get rid of, but almost flat overall. I am just waiting for the fur to grow again. He is still as cute as ever, just a little heavier due to extra treats he got due to the e-collar sympathy ploy
