My dog has issues! Please help!

Ok so we have had our puppy for a month or two now and we have him because someone at my dads work found him and couldn't find the owner. My dad got attached so here we are now with 2 dogs. The problem is this dog has issues! He will push you over to get inside the house and refuses to get out even if you try putting him on a leash or grabbing his collar to coax him out. Literally i have to pick him up, put him out, and be sure to shut the door in time before he pushes his way back in. He does this with the car as well. Just today i was cleaning out my car and had the dogs out to play and the second the car door opened he jumped into my little car and wouldn't get out. He does the same thing when going through just about any door, gate, room. What can i do to get him to stop? Please help!

This is only one thing you'll need to work on with your puppy. Get into a puppy training class. You'll be very glad you did--and so much more will be possible with the dog. One way to find a class is go to www.akc.org and look up dog clubs by state. Many of them have very good, reasonably priced classes.

Puppies develop rapidly. Don't delay getting into class with this pup. There are things you can teach easily to a pup that are much more difficult or even impossible with an adult dog. There is NO time to waste!

Alot of the time it's patience. Put a lead (leash) On the dog. Make him sit and wait at the door while you go out. As soon as he begins to move correct him and make him stay. It may take 100 times in one session and then 100 times more. The important thing is not to let him win. Work on sit, stay, and down, stay and stick to it. practice makes perfect so don't let him practice the wrong things. and don't get frustrated. Take a deep breath if you need to but don't let him go through any door unless you pass through first and invite him in.
