A Midnight Rescue

PanzersMom Dec 07, 2007 08:27 PM

Below is a link to a story about Midnight a Shepherd mix that was found hurt on the side of the road. I got to meet Midnight when my 8 year old niece and I took her some food, treats and toys. As we walked up we could see she was a very sweet dog because shes not just a tail wagger but she got her whole butt into it, in fact she had to be held from jumping around to much. She dosnt put weight on her back leg yet but she was doing a little better today when I went to see her for the 2nd time and even though she is in lots of pain her spirit is very high. Just from meeting her and spending time with this sweet angel I can see she is very thankful for the person that made the call to the SPCA that night and for everyone that is helping her through her hard time and you can definitely see that in her love and kisses.

Such a sad story, Panzer. I'm so glad that someone spotted her on the side of the road and Midnight was able to be rescued. Midnight sounds like such a sweet dog in spite of her injuries. I sure hope she finds a wonderful home.

Oh those are the kinds of stories that are tough this time of year. It's wonderful this dog has a second chance and is doing so well. Sad that she needed help in the first place. Kudos to those who never turn their backs on the needy- no matter what the species.
