Hello everyone,

This is my first time visiting this forum. I have an 8 month old male english mastiff named Charlie. I need to mail in his AKC registration papers and cant seem to come up with a good registerd name. Any ideas?? I was thinking something along the lines of Sir Charles of ??? or King Charles? or something totally different? I will post pics of him soon.

Hi Danielle and welcome to you and Charlie. I don't have a Mastiff I have Siba Inus but frequent the other boards. How about Sir Charles of.... then using your last name, street name or something similar. Your breeder might be okay using their kennel name as well. Can't wait to see the pictures.

You can try Sir Charles of (your last name) or your favorite city or your best friend, a favorite car, a brand of coffe you like... the list goes on and on.

You can name him something completely off the wall and just have his call name Charles. It doesn't have to be linked to his AKC name.

The possibilities are endless really. Have fun and be creative!

Friends of ours have an English Mastiff named Ben, named after Ben Roethlisberger because they are huge Steeler fans. Pick anything that means a lot to you and your family. Can't wait to see pictures!
