Heres a question, have you gotten your dog fixed yet?
Unless your breeding the dog you should get them fixed, a great article on this site covered this very well and how a "responsible owner" and hobbyist breeder was defending how "responsible owners" dont have accidental breedings occur. Just a few days or so before her speech her prize purebred male escaped and impregnated another dog which she blamed for the incident as being the "neighborhood floozy".
These mix breed puppies are what makes up the majority of the unwanted dogs killed by the hundreds of thousands in this country every year.
Im glad we got our mix breed puppy from a local rescue, Im glad he was fixed, microchipped, up to date on shots, and already to have his lifetime license mailed in when we got him.
Anyone who thinks that they arent part of the problem, and that their intact dog cant, or wont do the same, just look at this gorgeous puppies face and let this sink in....
This year hundreds of thousands of puppies, and dogs like Koda will be killed because NOBODY wants them. Be responsible, your dog does not need to be intact to be a companion, infact they will maker a better companion fixed.
Merry Christmas and a happy New Years everyone, and no I didnt say "happy holidays" (for reference Im not one bit religious, in fact Im what some people call an atheist, but its Christmas time, enjoy it).
