How badly rottem are they? Is it just tartar buildup or gum disease? Whether the vet won't clean them is a moot point if they might need to be pulled.

If there are no dogs in Heaven, then when I die I want to go where they went.
They're bad enough that her breath is rancid and she appears to have blood showing on her gums. Pulling them would not be an option. I just want to get them cleaned.
The main conflict is her liver. The vet has to put her to sleep to clean her teeth and forbids to take chances. What should I do?
