I have 3 5 month old carpet chameleons. They were purchased as 1.2. The literature is very conflicting concerning the sexing of thesr chameleons. Here is my description of the three. What do you think? I will refer to them as chameleons A and B and C:
A: Rarely ever bright green with a [bleep]e stripe. usually very coloful. It's tail based is very thick; a noticeable bulge is present from the anal opening to about 3/4" towards the tail tip. This chameleon does not get along with C and seeks to stay away from C. When put with B, this chameleon bobs its head and opens its mouth and comes over and climbs on top of B.
B: Never seen in full colors; almost always bright green with a white stripe. Tail base is very thin.
C: Tail base intermediate between A and B; Colir is normally green with a white stipe (but not as bright as B); can get very colorful. Gets along with B quite well.
Any comments? 1.2? 2.1? 3.0?
