How do you stop a puppy from eating its poop? Why do some pups do that? I think it's because they are having digestion problems.
There are various products on the market that can be added to food to make the stool less appealing but the easiest and quickest way to stop the pup from eating it would be to pick it up and dispose of it as soon as he/she is done.

I'm with Bob, pick up the poop as soon as you can and introduce a more positive kind of "treat" good luck and please keep us up to date with your lil one's growth!

fecal eating can be a sign of various things, could be digestive problems or a lack of something in the diet, or it could be a sign of something else.
It was on a show called "It's me of the Dog" along with what everyone else is saying, the dog could just be eatting too fast, not digesting everything like it should and the poop coming out still smelling of dog food making it appealing to the dog. You can put like a brick or something in the food dish to slow the dog down while it eats and digest it's food better.
Might be low quality kibble that you are feeding.
