Hi I just recieved a pekingese as a gift and am going crazy trying to pick a name that suits him by his personality I do not think that a cutesy name is fitting,He thinks he is big and bad and tries to intimidate my full grown pit We think its the funniest thing,any ideas?

Well Pekes have long flowing hair and I remember from the Star Wars movies that Chewbacca did as well and he also was a big Wookie. Like in the movie you could always call him Chewie... or Wookie... or Chewbacca! lol

Hi and welcome to the board. Sometimes it's difficult to pick a name right away. When I got my Shih Tzu, I wasn't sure about a name either. It may help to watch the dog for a time and sometimes a name will just pop into your head. That's what happened to me and I named her Katie. I can't tell you why but she just seemed like a Katie to me. LOL Good luck, I'm sure a name will come to you soon.
