Please take you cap lock off your computer- it's th equivalent of shouting at someone and can be interpreted as quite rude.

As for brands of food- the topic is huge and the answer not an easy one to tell you. A Cocker Spaniel can survive on almost anything, but they tend to thrive on some foods better than others. Here's a link you should check out- read through it and ask further questions if you have any. www.dogaware.com

Hi and welcome to the DogHobbyist! I would think that any high quality dog food would be good for a Cocker... that is... one that is not bought at a supermarket. Most of those contain fillers that a dog would not benefit from... especially a Cocker. You can research many good foods. My dogs use the Wellness Simple Food Solutions and do quite well on it. Most of the premium foods are rich in omegas that will help a Cocker with skin and coat condition which will also help to ward off any potential ear problems.

I agree with Bob. I've used Wellness, Merrick, and a couple other high quality foods. Although these foods cost more than the foods at the grocery store, you feed less (since they're not simply full of corn and other fillers).
