Feeding question

jjops123 Feb 07, 2008 04:10 PM

I have a one year old female pom. She weights about 7 pounds and is very active. Right now she eats anywhere from 1/2 to 3/4 of a cup of food a day. As she continues to grow out of puppy-hood and becomes a little less energetic how much food should I expect her to eat?

It kind of depends on the exact food you choose actually. For an average dog of that size I'd say you are looking at feeding roughly 250 calories a day.
