Hi! I'm pretty sure a member of our Shiba forum has been using Blue Buffalo and if I remember she said her dogs were doing pretty well with it. She hasn't posted in a long time so not sure where she has gone off to.
As for myself I use the Wellness Simple Food Solutions with my Shibas. My female has allergies and this food has none of the ingredients she is allergic to and my two boys do pretty well on it as well. Most of the members of the board use the Wellness but some use other brands of premium dog food. All members there stay away from supermarket bought food... but if that has to be an option the Purina One would be a decent food.

I have a Petsmart close to me but they do not carry Chicken Soup, Canidae, or Innova. It seemed Blue Buffalo was the best I could find.
